Modernistic of Troy is currently looking for a Claims Coordinator to join our growing Restoration team. Our ideal Claims Coordinator stays calm under pressure, is highly organized and has impeccable attention to detail. Our perfect candidate has a background in claim adjusting, file compliance, Xactimate estimating, and related restoration experience.

Responsibilities
- Provide excellent customer service when interfacing with clients, insurance professionals, and internal staff
- Field questions about ongoing projects from property owners, insurance companies, and third-party administrators
- Ensure all files are in compliance with company and carrier guidelines through daily checks
- Communicate with team members on missing and delayed items, assist when needed
- Ensure all files are moving through job phases in a timely manner (pipeline, production, and billing)
- Monitor all TPA assignments to ensure SLAs are met and documentation is accurate and timely
- Write estimates/make estimate revisions remotely using Xactimate software off of field sketches and photos
- Maintain a high level of industry knowledge for all restoration services
- Participate in on-call rotation for emergency after-hours calls
Requirements
- 2+ years of relevant administrative support experience
- 2+ years of experience in the restoration industry preferred
- 1+ year experience with insurance/claims preferred
- 1+ year Xactimate or equivalent experience preferred
- Salesforce experience is a plus
- MICA experience is a plus
- TPA experience is a plus
- Microsoft Word, Excel proficient
- Outstanding communication and customer service experience
- Highly organized and detail-oriented
- Able to multi-task and prioritize in a fast-paced environment with many concurrent demands
- Ability to recognize and solve problems individually and as part of a team
- Ability to perform quality work while maintaining specific timelines
